WRC is developing a One Health partnership proposition spanning diagnostic research and development, suitable surveillance applications, potential local manufacturing and wildlife-health capability. Entebbe research and Northern Uganda manufacturing and service phases are proposals, not established operating centres.

What must be established next
Confirm institutional mandates, technology and operator partners, biosafety and regulatory pathways, market demand, capital requirements, implementation roles and environmental and clinical protocols.
Potential partners
Qualified research institutions, UVRI and UWA as proposed collaborators, diagnostics manufacturers, technical operators and sector investors.
Site selection, investment scale, regulatory approvals, operating rights, financing structures and commercial returns are not yet established unless separately documented. No investment offer is made through this public overview.
